Creatine Causes Diarrhea!!!

Creatine Causes Diarrhea!!!

I wanted to go away from teen acne posts for a minute to talk about my experience with creatine and how it causes mad diarrhea!

I decided to take this body building supplement because I have never really supplemented before. I wanted to see how much harder I could work, and how much more my gains would be.

To somewhat relate this to acne...

For me, neither product caused me to break out.

The Creatine Side Effect is Pretty Sucky!

While taking the supplement in powdered form, I managed to get mad diarrhea. I'm talking about being on the toilet all day. At the least, 20 times.

Twin Labs is better!

After taking the powdered garbage, I purchased Twin Labs Creatine in Pill form, from Amazon.com. My results were not only wonderful, but I didn't have any bad side effects / diarrhea either. Woohoo!

So my suggestion would be... If you're going to use this stuff, take it in Pill form! If you do this, you'll hopefully be able to avoid the disgusting diarrhea side effect which haunted me for 24 hours.

Have you had bad side effects while on creatine?

Just out of curiosity, have you ever had any bad side effects while taking creatine? Did it ever cause you any problems? I think that by far, the diarrhea thing was the worst supplemental side effect that I have ever had.

But I am curious about your experiences.

Maybe the pill form is better than the powdered form? What do you guys think?

My story is much like yours...

I also had this problem while I was supplementing with the powdered form of creatine.

The annoying thing about what I was taking was the fact that it would always sink to the bottom of my water bottle, so it was really hard to drink it.

It also made me feel really nauseated during my workouts.

Maybe you felt the same way?

I switched to a pill form of creatine and the diarrhea problem disappeared.

Yeah! I actually forgot to mention the fact that I did feel nauseous during my workout. I don't know why capsule creatine is better, but it definitely is.

Thanks for your comment. :)

"Creatine supplements can lead users to experience nausea and diarrhea. These effects come from the creatine powders not being fully dissolved. Nausea and diarrhea can often times be fixed by adjusting the dosage or switching to a micronized powder or capsule form."

I read this from an article and thought it may help you. I have had the same prblem so I am going to attempt to let it dissolve better. I use apple juice and it just seems to take a long time to dissolve.
